THE FIRST GRADE OF AL-MUKHSIN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL

Islamic boarding school as called “ pondok“ in indonesia tradition language is a place which is including dormitory and classroom for study about Islamic religion. It designs to create person who understands deeply about Islamic teachings and who has strong Islamic characters. Indonesia has known as  the largest Islamic country on earth in which has uncounted of Islamic boarding schools that disseminate across  archipelago among those are AL-MUKHSIN Islamic boarding school that located on condong catur, sleman sub-district, Yogyakarta regency. AL-MUKHSIN is not the only boarding in condong catur but AL-MUKHSIN is one of salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in condong catur amid trend of modern Islamic board school, SALAFIYAH Islamic boarding school (pondok salafiyah) is a place which only focuses on learning Islamic religions only that its books are coming from Arabic or there is no education at all about dunya (politic, economic and etc.).

Living in al-mukhsin Islamic boarding school is really fun gathering with a lot of people from different backgrounds that will make each of us has different stories to tell as well as different point of views about something. Sometimes, it makes things more complicated when we discussed about something but we understand about respect. And living in al-mukhsin Islamic boarding school is very different with other Islamic boarding schools in Yogyakarta  which majority of us is University’s students who also goes to different majors in universities of Yogyakarta which it makes us more intelligent which can collaborate knowledge we got in campus and Islamic boarding school. Of course with promoting Islamic teaching in the first line followed with university’s knowledge in terms of implementation.

Al-mukhsin Islamic boarding school has four classes which is first’s grade (new student), second’s grade, third’s grade, fourth’s grade (the highest class). Especially, first’s grade which I am also one of students in this class. First grade is class with more than 15 students consisted of men and women. It’s quite unique for new person like who learns in the first grade of class Islamic boarding school which men and women should separate away with wood wall when teaching was running. It making us   cannot face to face each other but I am understand about this matter which it is haram for Muslim who has different ganders for face to face each other.

In the class, it’s quite fun which we learned with relax situation and sometime we were laughing because of some of jokes from ustads (teacher) or even our classmates. Which our class has run Saturday – Wednesday starting at 8.30 pm – 10.00 pm.   Our class has several unique people such as faiz, with his thick beard and diligence for writing as well as courteous but play boy :3 hehehe , taufix with his brain memory size for reciting and great Islamic knowledge ( loyal boy ) hahahaha, Ismail with his kind and endevour to be success in learning Islamic teaching ( good boy when sleeping but bad boy for boyfriend) :3 hehehe , Ni no with his diligence and courteous ( good bapa) hahaha :3 , rizal with his courage and strong efforts to success in the religious matter and the world ( shyness but good boy) :D, Uzi with his great capability and ability to adopt Islamic teachings and sport games (good boy for women) hehehe, shiba with his brilliant skill in football and futsal as well as smart in Islamic knowledge ( good man ) :D , diky with his gentleman and capability and ability in stealing attention from the girls ( good boy for father ) :3 hehehe and faqih with his smart brain in adopting Islamic teachings but kind of lazy person hahaha last but not least is me, simple man but special hahahaha .

With family atmostfir, Al-mukhsin Islamic boarding school is one of the best places for study for me and understand deeply about islamic teachings as well as learning about diversity and other social espects of life.
